The Price On The Rhine program will provide $1150 in travel credit for you to purchase your flight ticket and $150 toward travel insurance. You must purchase your flight ticket and travel insurance from our contacts at Christopherson Business Travel (CBT). Our contact David Dickson <David.Dickson@cbtravel.com> will issue your flight ticket once you contact him. If you exceed the credit value of $1,150 for flights, you will be charged the extra amount. We recommend that you purchase your tickets as soon as possible, the closer we get to summer the more expensive your flight ticket will be. When you contact David please be ready to provide your legal name as found on your passport, birthdate and passport number.
After your flight ticket is issued, you MUST immediately purchase travel insurance within 21 days (of when your flight ticket is issued). The upgraded travel insurance guarantees that 75% of the ticket price will be reimbursed if you are unable to attend the trip for any reason. Please note that travel insurance and your overseas health insurance (purchased via USC ) are not the same things.
To purchase travel insurance please contact Merri Lou Martin at MerriLou.Martin@andavotravel.com or (801) 327-7608 let her know that you are a Price On The Rhine participant and she will guide you through how to purchase insurance. Please keep in mind that Merri Lou operates on Mountain Time not Pacific Time. When you contact her be ready to provide your birth date, address and phone number. Below you will find further details on the travel insurance.
If you have any further questions or require assistance please email Karolina Reyes <karolinr@price.usc.edu> and copy Ginger Li at <jingjiel@price.usc.edu>
